Pastured Chicken CSA

Why pastured eggs?

It's Healthier - Compared to conventional, pasture raised hens produce eggs with a 1/3 less cholesterol, 1/4 less saturated fat, 2/3 more Vitamin A, 2 times more Omega-3 fatty acids, 3 times more Vitamin E, and 7 times more Beta Carotene.

Raised With Care - Our hens roam the farm under the canopy of sunshine and trees. They forage on various grasses, plants and insects and fed supplemental grains. The hens are under the protection of our rooster Armand, who will alert the flock when predators are near.

No Chemicals - We do not use chemicals including antibiotics and hormones. This is better for us, the birds and the environment.

Local - By purchasing from local and small farmers, you keep your dollar in the local community. And by buying local, your food isn't being shipped thousands of miles which is better for our planet.

Our chicken CSA is different than most others.

By signing up for our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA), you help take the guesswork out of how many chickens we need to raise. This saves us time and energy which allows us to pass the savings onto you.

We don't charge up front and there are no contracts - Most CSAs require a one-time upfront fee, usually $200-$400 for 10-20 birds. Although, this is a perfectly good approach, we understand that this can be a barrier for some families. To help make fresh, local chicken available to more families, you only pay when you receive your chicken.
